Current COVID-19 advice

Symptoms:

At the time of writing, the common symptoms are:

  • Respiratory symptoms
  • Fever, cough
  • Shortness of breath
  • Breathing difficulties

Hygiene:

The current guidance is to:

  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze.
  • Put used tissues in the bin immediately.
  • Wash your hands with soap and water often - do this for at least 20 seconds.
  • Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell.
  • Don't touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean.

When to seek medical assistance

Presently, people are advised to contact the NHS 111 number if they feel unwell or if they may have been exposed to the Coronavirus. They should not go to the GP as they could spread the virus if they have it.

We will continue to keep updated with government guidelines and update you as necessary.

Kind regards,

The Cover Team
